東京のシンボル・観光名所として知られ、国内外から多くの人が訪れます。定番のライトアップ「ランドマークライト」は実は２種類あり、冬はあたたかみのあるオレンジ、夏は涼しげな白を基調としています。タワー内にはカフェやレストラン等があり、メインデッキ（150m）とトップデッキ（250m）の２つの展望台があります。

Tokyo Tower is known both as a Tokyo landmark and a popular sightseeing spot, one that is visited by many people from both within Japan and from overseas. The tower’s standard “Landmark Light” illumination pattern actually has two variations: a warm orange is used as the base color in winter, while in summer it is a cool white. Inside the tower there are various cafes and restaurants, as well as two observation decks: the main deck at a height of 150m, and the top deck at 250m.

新宿東口からほど近くにある日本有数の繁華街・新宿歌舞伎町。歌舞伎町と聞くと、このアーチが頭に思い浮かぶはず。この歌舞伎町のシンボルとも言える一番街アーチは、昭和44年に設置されました。平成25年にはアーチの改修工事が行われ、電球のLED化や太陽光発電が取り入れられました。

Located near to the East Exit of Shinjuku Station, Shinjuku’s Kabukicho is one of Japan’s most famous downtown areas. When most people hear the name Kabukicho, they usually visualize this arch. The Ichibangai Arch, a symbol of Kabukicho itself, was erected in 1969. It was renovated in 2013, with its lightbulbs replaced with LED lights, and the addition of solar panels.

春夏秋冬楽しめるかき氷専門店「ひみつ堂」。自然の寒さでゆっくり育った日光天然氷を、昔ながらの手動式かき氷機で削ります。シロップは自家製で、旬の素材をそのまま活かし無添加で作られています。ふんわり氷と濃厚な蜜と練乳のかかった代表作「ひみつのいちごみるく」は絶品です。

Himitsu-do is a specialist shaved ice shop, where customers can enjoy delicious shaved ice all year round. The Nikko natural ice develops slowly in the natural cold, and is shaved using a traditional manual ice-shaving machine. The syrup is homemade using seasonal ingredients, and with no extra additives. The shop’s signature dish, Himitsu no Ichigo Milk (or secret shaved ice with strawberry milk), is an exquisite dessert consisting of fluffy shaved ice topped with rich syrup and condensed milk.

毎年七夕の前後7月6日～8日に入谷鬼子母神で開催される夏の風物詩、入谷朝顔まつり。多くの人でにぎわうお祭りですが、1913年（大正2年）に一旦なくなってしまいました。しかし、地元の方々の尽力により1948年（昭和23年）に復活し、現在に至るそうです。100あまりの店が並び、約25万鉢の朝顔が販売されます。

The Iriya Asagao Matsuri (or Iriya Morning Glory Flower Festival) is a summer tradition, held every year around Tanabata, between July 6th and July 8th at Iriya Kishimojin Temple. It is a bustling festival that attracts many people, but it was actually stopped at one point, in 1913. However, the festival was revived in 1948 with the efforts of the local people, and continues to be held to this day. During the festival over 100 stalls line the temple grounds, and around 250,000 morning glories are sold.

日本の漫画・アニメ史に名を刻む作品として知られている手塚治虫の「鉄腕アトム」。アトムは2003年4月7日、科学省長官・天馬博士が作りあげ、高田馬場で誕生しました。アトムはひとたび事件が起これば、その10万馬力のパワーで、敢然と悪に立ち向かっていきます。21世紀の未来を舞台に、10万馬力のロボット少年・アトムが活躍するSFヒーローマンガです。

Osamu Tezuka’s Mighty Atom (or Astro Boy as it is called overseas) is a well-known comic book work that has carved its name in the pages of Japanese manga and anime history. It is a science fiction superhero manga set in the futuristic world of the 21st century, featuring a robot boy named Atom, who has 100,000 horsepower strength. Atom was created on April 7, 2003 by Doctor Tenma, the head of the Ministry of Science, and born at Takadanobaba. Every time an incident occurs, Atom jumps into action and uses his 100,000 horsepower strength to fight bravely in the face of evil.

ヱビスビールのブランドロゴでおなじみの恵比寿様。その昔、この地に「恵比寿ビール」の工場があり、1901年（明治34年）、ビールを出荷するために作られた貨物専用駅が「恵比寿駅」のはじまりで、後にこの地域の地名にもなりました。ホームの発車メロディは、映画「第三の男」のテーマ曲。ヱビスビールのCMでもおなじみのメロディです。

YEBISU is one of the seven Japanese mythological gods of fortune. YEBISU BEER takes its name and logo from the god. Many years ago, the brewery for YEBISU BEER was located here. Ebisu Station began as a freight train station, built in 1901 for shipping beer out from the brewery. "Ebisu" later became the name of the surrounding area. The departure melody of this station is the theme song of the movie The Third Man. It is also known as the song used in TV commercials of YEBISU BEER.

1964年（昭和39年）9月、東京オリンピック開催に併せて開業。現在、浜松町駅～羽田空港第２ビル駅の17.8kmを結び、2017年（平成29年）11月には累計乗車数20億人を達成。「スマートモノレール」がコンセプトの最新車両10000形は、モノレール車両では初のLED前照灯と車幅灯を搭載。また、海外からのお客様向けに車両間貫通扉には「五重塔」「富士山」など「和」のデザインを採り入れています。

The Tokyo Monorail began operating in September 1964, or in time for the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games. At present, it connects Hamamatsucho Station to Haneda Airport Terminal 2 Station, at a distance of 17.8 kilometers. In November 2017, the monorail line carried its two billionth passenger. Designed under the concept of "smart monorail," the latest 10000 Series train is the first to have monorail cars equipped with LED headlamps and front position lamps. In addition, the doors between cars have pictures of Japanese motifs designed for foreign tourists, such as a five-story pagoda and Mt. Fuji.
